Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC) develops in the basal cells of the skins’ surface (epidermis) and is the most common but least dangerous type of skin cancer. BCC accounts for about 70-85% of all skin cancers. Treatments for BCC include simple surgery as well as a variety of other non surgical treatments.Those with BCC have a higher risk of developing other skin cancers such as melanoma.
