Dr Chu completed his medical degree with honours at Monash University. He received further surgical training both in Australia and the UK and passed the membership exams of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.
He holds a diploma of Surgical Anatomy from the University of Melbourne and Fellowship with the Royal College of General Practitioners. He is a Skin Cancer College of Australasia (SCCA) accredited skin cancer doctor with a particular interest in reconstructive surgery in relation to skin cancers.
Through the Skin Cancer College Australasia , he has completed advanced certificates in skin cancer medicine and surgery as well as an advanced diploma of dermoscopy . He teaches advanced skin cancer medicine and surgery courses with SCCA and is passionate in providing outstanding skin cancer care to patients.
